I’m sure by now you guys know my incessant love for all make-up that is hydrating in nature, especially with winters right around the corner!. I love lipsticks that are intrinsically hydrating yet at the same time deliver the desired effect/texture that I’m looking for. Recently I’ve been wanting to purchase a few lipsticks that are not only provide the much needed moisterisation but also give a slightly matte finish, just the way I prefer my lipsticks since matte lipsticks are clearly the make-up mantra of this season!. Well that’s some combo to achieve!.

Luckily for me, I discovered Bella Voste Ulti-Matte Chubby Sticks. Now Bella Voste is relatively a new brand in the Indian Beauty market yet the quality of their products is gradually putting them on the beauty map. Their products including the chubby sticks that are all formulated in Italy which is reflected in the quality of their products. The 2 shades that I ordered for myself are:

How to Apply:

You could begin by out-lining your lips with a lip-liner although I do not feel the need to use one .
Start applying the Chubby Stick from the centre of your lips going down to the corners.
However on the lower lip, you could start at one edge and follow the natural curve.
Re-apply for a smoother & longer lasting finish.

My Review:

The packaging of the Chubby Sticks is quite impressive. It comes in a 3.8 gm stick which is kept inside an outer carton which is also in the same shade as the lipstick and provides you with all the required information about the product. I like the fact that outer colour of the chubby stick is exactly in the same colour as the shade you order hence making it easy to identify. It comes with a luxe silver cap and the shade number is written on the bottom of the chubby stick.
I have to say it does possess a satiny finish on application and the texture is definitely silky & creamy.
The pigmentation is gorgeous as you can see from the pictures above. I would recommend two-strokes application to ensure that you get the exact shade.
I like both the shades that I ordered. However my favourite will have to be Hypnotic Rose. It’s such a versatile colour.
The Chubby Stick is not totally transfer proof, however it is quite long-lasting and remains on your lips even after you’ve had a meal.
What is amazing is that it renders a semi-matte finish to your lips after application.
It is free of Preservatives, Oil & Nano-Ingredient.
As well as it is Dermatologically Tested.
After having sampled the Chubby Sticks from Bella Voste, I have to say that what the brand claims is so true. I found the lipsticks hydrating, beautifully pigmented, having a semi-matte finish & long lasting!. I couldn’t ask for more!
